| Hike Summary: | The photos are from a short solo trip I did in Dec. 2005 to one of my favorite spots in Ocala National Forest. I had along a copy of Cross Creek by MK Rawlings. I spent a leisurely morning just sitting by the pond reading. One of the few backpack trips where I was not compelled to pack up and get moving early. Great Florida winter weather that trip! Lots of fresh bear scat spotted this time. no bears though! |
