Hike Summary: | did this hike in december and there is a ski mountain that you have to cross-watch out for skiers cathedral pines is an awesome spot trail goes through duddleytown-an abandoned site of a town in the early 1900s this area near coltsfoot mt is restricted by the dark entry forest association creepy things happen in these woods and if caught there who knows what they will do to you i was chased by a crazed backwoods hillbilly |

I was up hiking along the Mohawk trail on aug6 2011 and in the start as you start to really get in the woods off Dark entry rd along the stone boundry on your left hand side I witnessed the weird felling of Children in 1900’s clothing just watching me hike with my dog. There was about 15 kids just watching me lined up on the strech of foundation. Then a little further up my dog got his foot cought between 2 rocks and started screaming. I do thing it was the presence of the children that I saw in the start of our walk. This was the 1st time I actually witnessed the kids of all the times Ive hiked there.
