| Best Hike Description: | Started at the base of Shortoff Mountain and hiked to the top and across towards Table Rock and took an unmarked trail 1500 feet to the bottom of the linville Gorge and then back to the top of the west Rim of the Gorge taking Pinch in ridge trail to the top. It was 98 deg in August when i went and it was a good hard hike. I dont know the mileage but im guessing around 6 miles. |
