| Biography: | I am presently hiking the Appalachian Trail(white blazing) -- started April 6 at Springer Mtn., GA-- am now in NH. I am a lawyer who went blind shortly after graduation, and am doing this hike with 2 Leki treking poles and verbal cues from people I am hiking with. I have met many wonderful people along the way and have had some great experiences, and thankfully, few falls, and only one sick day. This hike is my way of proving to myself and others that blindness need not slow you down if you really want to do something. |
