| My Best Hike: | Eagle Creek to 7.5 Mile Camp |
| Best Hike Description: | Starting in the always impressive Columbia River Gorge, it's almost impossible to imagine anything could be more scenic, but the trail up Eagle Creek does just that. Overflowing with countless vistas, dizzyingly high bridges, and waterfalls that defy description, this hike always delivers. |

| Worst Hike Description: | Getting stuck in a thunderstorm in the barren landscape atop Goat Rocks makes for a very harrowing night. |
| A Memorable Trail Moment: | "This compass is broken" are the, now infamous, words of one of my hiking buddies when he got lost in the Trapper Creek Wilderness. After a night spent separated from the group, we found him, and determined that the compass was in fact working correctly. |
