My Best Hike: Mount Pilchuck
Best Hike Description: Mt. Pilchuck is a mountain in the Northern Cascade group just north of Seattle, WA. My wife and I hiked about 3/4 to the top in July, while there was still about 3-5 ft. of hard packed snow. The scenery was incredible. At the top is a fire tower that would have offered some incredible views, but because of the steepness of the climb and the snow we could not make it. Living along the east coast all my life this was a real treat to hike in a completely different environment than I was used to .
Worst Hike Description: Any opportunity in the outdoors to hike is always a good hike.
A Memorable Trail Moment: setting up the tripod on Mt. Ranier and getting the perfect shot of my wife and I with Mt Ranier in the background.
Trails That I Want To Hike: too many to list. Hope to eventually get in to backpacking.
