My Best Hike: | Cape Chignecto, Nova Scotia, Canada |
Best Hike Description: | 41 miles in 3 days with MANY long ups and downs along one of the most beautiful coast lines in Canada. Great, technical hike with a rating of moderate to very difficult. Day one was challenging hike to Refugee cove where you see an incredible transformation of the coastline due to the highest tides in the world (up to 30 feet). Day two, a tough but enjoyable hike to Seal Cove where you can see moose, black bear, seals, and incredilbe scenery. Day three, a long hike back to the ranger station through ever changing stands of woods and ferns winding along brooks and gullys for a total of 41 miles for the entire hike. |
My Worst Hike: | A bad day in the woods is still better than a good day at the office! |
A Memorable Trail Moment: | Falling in the river along the Buffalo River Trail in Arkansas, classic keystone cops. |
Dumbest Trail Move: | Trying to get closer to black bears to take a better picture! |
Trails That I Want To Hike: | To have the time to do the entire Appalachian trail in one shot. |
