| Best Hike Description: | Went up up up over a pass and then back out. Great trip, REAL heavy pack, but the clearest mtn lakes with the largest Trout you have ever seen. They wouldn't take ANYTHING though. The views were spectacular and the fog (or clouds, whatever) rolling in and out the first night was serene. |

| Worst Hike Description: | After an 8 mile in hike in the rain and a night when our site got flooded, we secured the shelter the next day only to go on a day hike that ended up with the whole group getting soaked in a torrential downpour, frozen when we decided it was easeir to go over tha go around Mt Marcy and the last two hours in the dark with two pen lights to lead 10 people back to the shelter we had gotten that morning. YEAH! |
| A Memorable Trail Moment: | My girlfriend seeming like she had hypothermia after the Avalanche Lake day hike. That and the fact that the simple day hike ended up being more strenuous and problematic than the whole weekend. |
