Biography:	Grew up wandering the woods of New Hampshire around my childhood home and hiking with my parents, especially my dad. I was an "outdoors girl". We moved to PA when I was nine, and it was hard for me because I didn't have the woods I was familiar with: just a 1.3 acre plot of grass surrounded by corn. Needless to say, I've been homesick for 20 years. I kept up hiking a few times a year over the years. However, I recently moved to Mount Desert Island and have seriously taken up hiking again. I'm excited for all the adventures that await me in Acadia NP and elsewhere!
My Best Hike:	The week-long backpacking/canoeing trip I took in Algonquin PP in Canada.
Best Hike Description:	Amazing week-long trip, my first backpacking experience. We mainly canoed, though we did a considerable amount of hiking as well. It was amazing and I would love to go back.
My Worst Hike:	So far, none
A Memorable Trail Moment:	Summiting the very small Gorham Mountain in Acadia NP. It was my first summit ever. 🙂
Dumbest Trail Move:	Hiking an easy/moderate trail in flip-flops because I didn't adequately research what that meant. I made it, but it wasn't a ton of fun.
