| Hike Summary: | This was one of several day hikes our family took while camping at Chattahoochee River NFS campground in August 2001 This was a nice scenic hike that our family enjoyed. We met a ranger who was walking/inspecting the trail. We accompanied him the whole route. He was a very pleasant fellow. I still remember his name, Dave Carswell. I recall he had retired from a "regular" job and had joined the park service. It got me thinking about doing the same! |
