Hike Summary: | An easy hike but not a great one. Old train track bed with gravel/dirt. All level, follows along roadsides, so you hear traffic. Worst thing was the ATVs and motorcycles. There wasn't a large number of them, it is just a little unsettling for me as a woman, to be hiking among a bunch of men on motorized vehicles. There was a section of the trail that had some great views of the surrounding mountains. Ironically, it was in the middle of a field of kudzu. There were several wildflowers along the way. Probably won't do this hike again though. |
