Hike Summary: | This is a short but steep hike from the turnout parking area down to the blowhole approximately 200 feet below. The coastline here is beautiful, and the blowhole, which is a small opening in the lava shelf next to the ocean is thrilling to see. As the waves crash in, the pressure from below causes the water to gush up through the opening creating a spectacular fountain. |
