Hike Summary: | Hot Springs in a remote neck of the woods and in a very natural setting. Best to go at the crack of dawn before the crowds and when it is almost too cool to be out of the water. The Beta pool is a bit cooler, but large enough to swim in for a while. Alpha Pool temp is near 52°C (°125F) and Beta is about 42°C (107°F). One of my favorite places on the Alaska Highway during our drive in July of 2002. |
