Hike Summary: | I never knew this trail was here, untill a friend at work told me about deer scouting here. The trail is well worn, so it is easy to follow. After a bit you will end up in a gully that is solid rock I hear that is where the name to the street Indain Wells comes from. But I dont know the truth in that. There is a old mine further back on the trail and a water tank. |

Although this is a desert hike on the west side of the mountains (think really warm in the summer), it is a nice hike with some elevation gain. There are actually 2 loop trails so you don’t have to do an out/back hike. There is a small overlap in the loops – but only a little. The longest of the loop trail is not on a well maintained trail, so you need to be able to read the trail. At the end of the farthest loop there are further options which include going over the ridge into Dry Canyon or connecting to the “A” trail by going on a trail on the west side of the ridge.
