Hike Summary: This is a fraction of the extensive Palmetto Trail. After going around the gate, we hung a right at both ponds until we came to the waterfall. We then looped around the backside of the second pond. When we neared the intersection of the first pond, we turned right and hiked the trail until we came to a creek that would require wet feet. There are several nice boulder to sit on and several beaver dams.
