Hike Summary: | This was one of a few day hikes we took while camping at Chattahoochee River NFS campground in August of 2001. This trail ascends along the creek. Somewhere near the last half mile, it becomes pretty steep. My little girls scrambled up the incline leaving the parents huffing and puffing behind. The trail ends on the AT. The photo is at the AT junction where we had a snack before coming back down. There is a campground at Andrews Cove as well. |
