Grew up wandering the woods of New Hampshire around my childhood home and hiking with my parents, especially my dad. I was an "outdoors girl". We moved to PA when I was nine, and it was hard for me because I didn't have the woods I was familiar with: just a 1.3 acre plot of grass surrounded by corn. Needless to say, I've been homesick for 20 years. I kept up hiking a few times a year over the years. However, I recently moved to Mount Desert Island and have seriously taken up hiking again. I'm excited for all the adventures that await me in Acadia NP and elsewhere!
