Has anyone heard anything about Krakauer’s next book? Supposedly he recently made an announcement on the Sundance Channel that he is in the middle of writing a new book, but didn’t give any additional details.
Amazon has a placeholder for a book by Krakauer titled The Hero, and lists it with a release date of October 14, 2008.
Random House also has a placeholder, and lists the category as “Biography & Autobiography – Military.”
Although this is intriguing, I was hoping for another outdoor adventure accounting. Has anyone read his other non-outdoor book, Under the Banner of Heaven? I was just curious how it reads.
Has anyone read Eiger Dreams? I’ve only read Into the Wild and Into Thin Air, both of which were excellent.
