Hi!
I’ve found that expanding my circle of influence starts with increasing self-awareness and taking proactive steps in areas where I have some control. For example, I focus on building stronger communication skills and nurturing relationships at work and in my personal life. This helps me gain trust and opens doors to new opportunities, which naturally expands my influence.
A key part of this process is understanding and working within your circle of influence—focusing on what you can change rather than what’s outside your control. Mindset wise, adopting a growth mindset and staying solution focused rather than problem focused has been key. Instead of getting stuck on things beyond my control, I concentrate on what I can change or affect.
Doing this has boosted my confidence a lot. I feel more empowered to take initiative, and it’s improved my relationships because I’m more present and engaged. Professionally, it’s led to better teamwork and some leadership chances I wouldn’t have had otherwise.
Would love to hear if others have similar experiences!
