Can anyone suggest a small, portable, light-weight and collapseable fishing pole/reel for the trail? I haven’t really seen anything that is made for backcountry fishing. Thanks. I’m mainly a spin casting fisherman (no flies.) T.S.
Shakespeare makes a collapsible rod about 14″ when collapsed. I have the smallest reel shindaiwa makes on it, with 4 pound test, and it has been great for years of catch-and-release fishing.
