There has already been one topic about different ways to die in the outdoors (see A Dozen Ways to Die (In the Backcountry) under the How to Hike and Backpack forum), and there has already been one topic about Timothy Treadwell, whom some might argue had a death wish (see Grizzly Man – The Documentary under the Books/Videos forum). Now, how about a forum specifically dedicated to those people who would appear as though they have dedicated their lives to dying.
Sure, we all love the outdoors, and we all take on a certain amount of risks when we venture out “Into the Wild.” But some people seem to purposely push the limit knowing all too well what the end result will likely be. What do you think? Is this truly a love of their outdoor endeavors, or some sort of cry for help? I would like to start the forum with the following two links about Dan Osman. The first one is to get you interested, and the second one tells the rest of the story…
