Trip Report: This is a short hike of approximately 1.5 miles long which is fairly easy and I have done it dozens of times because it is less than ten miles from where I live. On this occasion I had my mother in law with me because I wanted to show her the water fall. The hike starts in the parking area next to a sign for the trail and slowly descends down the hill on a well marked path to the top of a bluff where you can either go left or right. If you go right you get to the water fall quicker. First you follow the top of the bluff to a bridge that crosses the creek which feeds the water fall then descend down the hill winding around the side to come up underneath the water fall. You then cross under the rock cavern to the other side of the water fall where you will begin to climb back to the top of the bluff to the point where the trail split and then climb back up the hill to the parking area. of course, if you are very adventurous you can take a side trail to the bottom of the sixty foot water fall and swim in the pool that forms at the bottom of it. There are several foot bridges across areas that are swampy when it is the rainy season and the views are definitely worth the short hike to go see.
