| Trip Report: | great hike met several hikers along the way and stopped to chat a few minutes to several. checked out the shelter at springer mountain and black gap for future reference. They were both nicely kept, with reliable water and a privy nearby. There were lots of dispersed camping sites along the way and two additional seasonal water sources which were marked by signs. |
