Trip Report: Good day for a good hike. Traveling from NC to GA to visit family in Cleveland, I try to get in a North Georgia mountains hike. I can recommend this hike/trail to virtually everyone. Gentle inclines over a wide trail, short steep pitches that anyone can climb. The scramble on arriving at the cliffs can be daunting. Though I would recommend going up about a third of the way...to where you can see the crack and the water falling though it (on the lead page of the Hike). I liked the duration of the hike also. I could have done it in less time, but then would not have enjoyed it quite as much. I did like going in the winter time, with the leaves off the trees, but was much easier to see the creek and waterfalls that are along the way.

Being the adventurer I am, I did have to follow the road on back from the parking lot, even though it says "Dead End". Being in my wife's Honda, I got only as far as a creek crossing. Either the car was too low, or the water to high, so I did not get to the dead end.
