Trip Report: I went out on the trail with a friend, I was suprised how close the trip was to downtown DC. I would see a jogger every so often, but it was pretty isolated. We mostly followed the marked trail, but there was a large log with small board nailed to it to function as primitabe bridge across the creek/river. From there we noticed a beaver dam and heard what we assumed was a beaver inside of it. We actually missed the loop around part and took the trail to it's end, then on the way back we found the loop accidentally, but after going in a large circle, we eventually found the way back to the parking lot.
