Hike Summary: | Outlaw OHV Trail is one of the most recommended trails for both hikes and off-roading in Sedona and just a couple hour from from Central Phoenix. Outlaw OHV Trail overlooks the the Red Rocks, making it a perfect scenic route. You will find that both locals and visitors absolutely adore this area and come to see the natural beauty as often as possible. With that being said, the trails can be crowded, so plan accordingly. Elevation Gain: 1,551 feet Preparation: Jackets are recommended in the fall and winter months. Although you are able to walk along this trail to experience the beautiful red rocks this trail is primarily used for off-roading. Be sure to come prepared with a vehicle with 4X4 abilities. Proper hiking shoes, sneakers. A camera: you'll want this for the views. Water, food. Dogs Allowed: Rough terrain and cliffs, leashes recommended. |
