| Hike Summary: | Hoosier Hill is the highest point in Indiana at 1,257 feet. The “summit,” which is literally a bump in a farm field is unexceptional in most regards, but if you’re looking to say you’ve stood at the highest point in Indiana, it might be worth the trip (although, it might be easier to justify if you’re already in the area, and have some extra time on your hands). There is a small registration box located at the “summit,” which contains both a registry and certificates to memorialize your momentous occasion (see photos at left). |
