Directions: | Southbound on Interstate 75 from Chattanooga, Tennessee Take Dalton Exit 333. At the end of the ramp turn right and then take the next immediate right onto College Drive. Dalton State is located 3/4 mile on the left. Northbound on Interstate 75 from Atlanta, Georgia Take Dalton Exit 333. At the end of the ramp turn left. After crossing the interstate, take a right on College Drive. Dalton State is located 3/4 mile on the left. |

Hike Summary: | This hike starts at one of two kiosks. The first kiosk is on George Rice Drive. The second kiosk is to the left of the parking garage. The College Creek Trail is marked with white trail markers. There are two benches along the trail. This is a perfect after work hike. While the first and last part of the trail you can still hear the interstate traffic, you will feel like you are in the middle of nowhere during the middle section of this trail. Camping is not allowed on this trail. |
