Hike Summary: | More than 75 % of this hike would be under shades!!! This trail is part of very popular to both bikers and hikers, 4000 acres Aliso and Wood Canyons Wilderness Park located in between Laguna Beach, Aliso Viejo and Laguna Niguel cities with several forested canyons and two running water streams and lush vegetations. The beautiful Soka University on the mountains and surroundings add fragrance to the views! We will be taking some trails that run parallel to a stream and mostly under shadows on a single track with gain and loss of around 300 ft. The sounds of birds and running water make this route so cool! The trails will take us to "Dripping Cave" also known as "Robber's cave over hanging rock shelter that was used as a hide out to rob state coaches enroute from San Diego to Los angeles. We will return back on the Oak shady fire road wood Canyon to the Canyon View park. |
