| Hike Summary: | Flatwoods Park is a property managed by the county and SWFMD. It is a multi use park. Hiking off road provides a beautiful refuge away from the congested urban environment that surround much of this park. The interior is more remote than one might think. Even when the parking lot is full of cars there for biking and blading, I can hike beautiful areas and see nary a soul! This park is very near my house and I go out here a few times a week for short hikes. These photos were from March of 07. |
