Hike Summary: This trail was created for mountain biking, but is open to hikers. The start of the trail is a short steep section with a couple of switch backs. The trail splits at the top, both ways are about the same distance and they come back together shortly. The trail the follows the ridge until it gets to a radio tower, then starts back down toward the creek. here it splits again. you can either choose downhill (better for hikers) or Roller Coaster(great for bikers). At the bottom, you follow the creek. this is the highlight of the trail. You follow the creek all the way back close to the parking lot. This is the most senic part and makes it worth hiking again.

Although it's mean for bikers, I haven't seen very many on it. I did this hike with two kids, by myself. A 3 and 4 yr old. They and I had a blast and there are some great picnic spots all over the place. Bathrooms are close by at the playground and I really can't say anything bad about the trail at all. It's an easy one, but a good one to take small children.

A great hike to go on with kids. There’s a park at the beginning or end of the hike and bathrooms are close by. Very easy hike, even when carrying one on your shoulders and one on your arms, whining because they aren’t the one on your shoulders..ahem.
