Directions: | From Walhalla, drive north on SC 11 and then turn left on to SC 130. Continue on SC 130 for 10 miles to see the entrance of the Duke Power Bad Creek Hydroelectric Station on the right. (If you see the North Carolina State line you missed it). Wait for the guard gate to open (daylight hours only), and then follow the signs for two miles to the Bad Creek parking area (with access trails to Whitewater Falls and the Foothills Trail. |

Cross two footbridges over the Whitewater River to access the Foothills Trail and turn left to reach the base of Whitewater Falls. |
