Hi guys, I recently came across an interesting topic and would like to discuss it. Every year in India, more and more people, especially from the middle class, are getting into money games. For example, I have noticed that even people who would never have thought of betting or playing games with money are now actively participating in online lotteries and casinos. I myself work in the financial sector and I have friends who have started playing such games regularly. It is not just entertainment, but also seems to be a way to make quick money. The question is, why has this become such a popular phenomenon among the middle class? Is it out of desperation or something else? I would be interested to hear your thoughts.

According to https://www.lyricsgoo.com/lakhs-on-luck-why-middle-class-indians-are-money-games-more-than-ever/ there are several reasons, and one of them is definitely related to how the economy and the perception of money has changed in India in recent years. This is especially true for the middle class, which has always tried to maintain a balance between tradition, savings and a little more freedom in terms of consumption. Many of us, who grew up in the middle class, always knew that we needed to save in order to achieve financial well-being. However, with the growing need for quick profits, especially among the youth, the interest in money games has grown. In India, we have seen serious economic growth, but with it has come a lot of instability: rising costs of education, housing and health. The middle class does not always have confidence in its financial stability, and here gambling seems to be a quick and accessible way to try to “win” money. Let’s not forget about the ubiquity of the Internet. The advent of mobile apps and online casinos has made the gaming process accessible directly from your phone. Many people don’t even feel guilty or ashamed, because, no matter how you look at it, it has become the norm. For example, the same games like Rummy or Teen Patti are not just entertainment, but full-fledged platforms where you can earn money. All this is reinforced by advertising, which involves celebrities, and the games themselves look attractive and are easy to perceive. Especially when they offer bonuses, free spins and discounts.

I have also noticed that every year more and more people in our circle are starting to play money games. This is probably due not only to economic instability, but also to cultural changes in the country. Interestingly, with the development of the Internet and mobile technologies, the availability of such games has only increased. Gambling has now become not only accessible, but also a part of popular culture, especially among those who are looking for quick and easy ways to make money.
