Hey fellow adventurers!

If you’re just getting into hiking or backpacking, here are a few essentials I’ve learned along the way that made a huge difference:
Always break in your boots before the trip
Layer your clothing — weather changes fast
Pack light but smart: a water filter, headlamp, first-aid, and protein-rich snacks go a long way
Don’t forget skincare!
Speaking of which — here’s something unexpected that’s become a staple in my post-hike routine: alpha arbutin. After long days in the sun and wind, my skin would get dull and uneven. This little serum helps fade sun spots and brighten skin without irritation. Works great with sunscreen too.
So whether you’re heading out for a day hike or a full weekend trek, take care of your gear — and your skin.
