    My Fiance and I are planning a 7 day backpacking trip for the Northern Part of the trail for our honeymoon in late June/early July. Does anyone have any feedback from this part of the trail? We’re starting at the Hiawassee River and we’re going to cut across at the trail #54 (Stratton Bald Trail) to the parking area, where we’re leaving the car in Joyce Kilmer area. Any advice??

    Hopefully this will be a great way to spend our honeymoon!!! :) :) :)
