I have two novice hikers that I plan to take with me for a 7-11 mile two day backpacking trip and am new to the Greenville area in S.C. Can anyone recommend a good overnight hike. Thanks.

Try this hike in Ceasars Head. It’s close to Greenville, the trails are well marked and there are plenty of campsites on this route. Also, there’s a great waterfall and interesting cable crossing of Matthews Creek which is more fun than anything. https://yourhikes.com/hikes/south-carolina/caesars-head-state-park-gum-gap/

Try the whitewater falls area near Cashiers north Carolina. There is a nice mix of day and overnight hikes here along the Foothills Trail:
