    Can anyone recommend a lightweight tent for a thru-hike. I have looked at some tent/tarps but am curious what other people have used.

    Check out the Hubba (2 lbs, 12 oz.) There’s only room for a sleeping pad inside, but the vestibule will cover your boots, pack, etc and it’s freestanding. I highly recommend it.

    Check out Tarptent.com and sixmoondesigns.com, both offer a sub 2lb tent that has a fir amount of space for the weight and both have great customer support
