Trip Report: Ed and I were up early and spent most of the day in downtown Seattle checking out the underground which is a vacated area under the city. Then we headed across the street to Merchant's cafe to down some food and brew. By chance, we ran into Jeff Goode who I sat next to at graduation last May. He was working behind the bar and suggested a trip to Mount Rainer. So by mid-afternoon, we were headed to the park and arrived around 3:30pm and did a four mile hike to some glaciers near Sunrise. I definitely need to head back here and do some backpacking. The place is beautiful. We left Mount Rainer around 7pm and there were deer all over the place grazing at dusk. It took us five hours to drive to the Dulles, Oregon where we crashed for the night after getting some more food/beers in Portland.
