Directions: From I-95: Take exit #193 onto Hwy 9 through Dillon. From Hwy 9 take a rt. onto Hwy 57 for approximately 11 miles. Turn left onto county road 22 (State Park Road), cross two bridges over the Little Pee Dee River and the park will be one mile on the right.

Hike Summary: The Beaver Pond Nature Trail is an easy hike for the whole family. Start at the ranger station for a longer hike (1.3 miles). You will cross Park Road after a short way and then head down to the beaver pond, where the trail loops around it. From there you will retrace your earlier steps back to the ranger station. A shorter hike can be done by starting at the Park Road Trailhead.
Early morning or late afternoon is a good time to do this hike. Wildlife is active at these times and sightings are likely.
