Directions: From Seattle drive east on I-90 to exit 34. Turn south on 468th Avenue SE and proceed about 0.5 mile. Immediately before the South Fork Snoqualmie River bridge, turn left (east) on SE 159th Street and drive 0.5 mile to the trailhead parking lot at the road's end.

Hike Summary: The first part of the trail passes through a mossy and wooded forest along the South Fork Snoqualmie River. The trail then climbs up a series of long switchbacks, at the top is a view point, best viewed in late fall or early spring when the trees are not so full. After a short rest, you'll continue to climb another 0.5 mile to a foot bridge taking you over the river gorge, directly between two of the stairstep falls.
