Directions: Located west of Willamette Pass, just off of Highway 58. The Salt Creek Falls day use area is located 21 miles east of Oakridge, or 5 miles west of Willamette Pass. The parking lot is well signed from the main road, and east bounders will undoubtedly see the falls through the trees before reaching the turnoff. The first viewpoints are handicap accessible, with the trail to the base being easy, but with numerous stairs.

Hike Summary: So what I love about this hike is you can go ahead and do the entire hike which is full of shade and gorgeous trees. You can also see Salt Creek Falls with just a few short steps from the parking lot. So if you are with hikers or with the family and just need to stretch your legs, Salt Creek Falls is perfect for everyone. You just get off the highway, follow the road down, there is a paved parking lot with bathrooms, information to read about the area and the trail head. The trail is easily marked and like I said just a few steps and you see the falls. Salt Creek Falls is Oregon's second highest single drop waterfall, cascading 286 feet.
