Hike Summary: I great way to test your aptitude to hiking the Appalachian trail. Really nice terrain and very hilly so be prepared for work if your not an experienced hiker.

Many families use the beginning of this trail for exploration with children since there are several streams, plenty of vegetation around for teaching and it's right next to the lodge at Amicalola Park.
