Hike Summary: Yosemite falls are best seen in spring when the snowmelt has the falls at their fullest but the falls are present year round. Starting from the road you can hike up to the lower falls. It is a loop trail which you can take either way from the road up to a bridge at the lower falls. You can either turn around and backtrack or continue on over the bridge and along the paved path. My suggestion is to follow the path to the left from the parking area. That direction will afford amazing views of the entirety of the upper and lower falls while walking up the path. If you head the other way continue across the bridge and follow the path, but don't forget to look back at the amazing view of this, the tallest waterfall in North America and the 5th tallest in the world.
