Hike Summary: The hike of a lifetime! I'd highly recommend this trip for anyone wanting to experience some of the most spectacular scenery of any trail.

Beautiful lakes, meadows, high passes, "lunar landscapes".

Forester Pass and Pinchot Pass were my favorites. But my favorite part of the trail was Clouds Rest (5,000' vertical drop to the valley floor) and climbing the cables to the top of Half-Dome.
